Once again this year, the orientation fair provided an excellent platform for giving young people guidance and insights into the diverse educational paths available to them after graduating from school.

Research and networking in Ansbach: FIT 2025 strengthens dialogue between science and industry

While the orientation fair was already in full swing in Feuchtwangen, Ansbach University of Applied Sciences kicked off its 3rd Research and Innovation Day (FIT 2025) in the afternoon. The event took place in the new Ambrosius Auditorium and provided a platform for intensive exchange between science, industry, and society.

In short, concise pitches and presentations, researchers, companies, and regional partners presented their current projects in the fields of energy and sustainability, material and production innovations, digitalization and artificial intelligence, innovation management, and working and learning. Participants gained exciting insights into practical research work and innovative solutions – with a special focus on the West Middle Franconia region.

FIT 2025 was all about knowledge transfer: numerous ideas for new collaborations and joint development projects emerged. At the get-together that followed, guests and researchers took the opportunity to make new contacts and develop ideas over snacks and drinks – a strong sign of active cooperation between the university and industry. This includes, for example, the close cooperation between the Feuchtwangen campus and Thyssenkrupp Materials Processing Europe GmbH.

Whether in Feuchtwangen or Ansbach, Ansbach University demonstrated how student counseling, practical projects, and innovative strength work hand in hand to strengthen the region.
