Contacts made at the “Messe München”

Students used “The smarter E” as an opportunity for information, exchange and networking.

A whole bus full of students from the master’s programs Smart Energy Systems and Energiemanagement und Energietechnik set off on June 15 together with Prof. Dr.-Ing. Johannes Jungwirth and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Georg Rosenbauer to Munich for the trade fair The smarter E. Since 2018, the event has combined four special trade fairs around renewable and smart energy solutions. Perfect for the students to gain an overview of the industry and make contacts for internships and dissertations.

Nearly 2500 trade exhibitors presented the latest products, services, new developments and pioneering solutions on the topics of renewable power generation, distribution, storage and intelligent use of energy to more than 100,000 visitors at Messe München.

As part of the #StudyProgram of The smarter E Europe 2023, students also had the opportunity to attend lectures and meet and exchange ideas with students from other universities. After the presentations, an innovative, extremely exciting, very motivating, lively and rewarding fair awaited the future professionals for the energy transition – from the solar industry to batteries and energy storage systems, the smart use of energy in industry and buildings to charging infrastructure and electromobility, there was something for everyone.
